2025: Nov. Wrap Up and Dec. Intro
“the end of November Rain…” - Guns n’ Roses
November!
The Rescue’s Third Birthday
First off, thank you to everyone who helped celebrate The Rescue’s third birthday with me! It was such a great day and it was filled with so much support. I dedicated the entire month to posting exclusively about my book and it definitely helped sales. On the downside, it burnt me out a little bit. But I am happy to report that my free book promotion was pretty successful and the giveaway winners will be announced VERY soon. I just haven’t done the winners yet because of finals.
NaNoWriMo?
I know I had said in November’s intro that I would be editing my book during November but that definitely didn’t happen. I had a lot of work for my classes and I was doing a lot of behind the scenes work to promote my book. But that’s okay! I don’t have to hit all of my goals every time.
Library Book Sale
I, unfortunately, didn’t find anything at the library book sale. I did, however, buy some special editions from Target.
Thanksgiving Break
I went home a weekend early for Thanksgiving break because my parents and I went down to PA to see family. That was mostly enjoyable. I got my favorite cookies and I got to fly on a plane! The rest of Thanksgiving break consisted of me doing schoolwork and working at my job. I did go see Wicked: For Good with my dad on Thanksgiving so that was fun!
December
Finals Then Winter Break
I am VERY excited to be done with this semester. I finished my last final paper this morning so all I have left is my psychology final exam tomorrow morning and then I go home!
Work
I am planning on working a ton over winter break since I’m saving up for a car. It doesn’t make sense for me to buy a car while I’m in school but once this semester is over I’ll be a senior so that only leaves me a year until it makes a lot of sense for me to buy a car.
Seeing Friends
I don’t have any concrete plans yet but I am definitely going to be hanging out with my friends over the break.
New Room?
This past weekend (while I was at school), my parents bought me some new furniture and I am very excited to see it! I’m especially excited to reorganize everything. Allegedly, I have a new bed and more closet space.
Traveling for Christmas
I will be traveling to see family for Christmas which is always a 50/50. Since we’re driving, we’ll have to contend with the weather. I generally prefer to stay at home for the holidays but if I did that then I wouldn’t be spending it with my parents so I’m going with them.
Overall…
I am extremely excited to be going home for winter break and I really hope it’s as fun as I’m anticipating!
