OH MY GOD I'M OBSESSED!! I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire book and I ate it up in one sitting. The tension is absolutely delicious and I enjoyed the dual timeline (something I don't always enjoy). Despite the fast pace, nothing felt underdeveloped. I honestly could've kept reading for 300 more pages and been happy that's how much I loved the story. It's absolutely addictive in a way that I haven't found since I read the Boys of Tommen series which is a high compliment (obviously a very different story but it scratched the same itch).
His to Fear (Rainelyn) - Oct. 27, 2025

Based on the trigger warnings, I was expecting this novella to be a bit darker but I'm not complaining. I honestly would've been happy reading a longer-length version of this story because the plot and the spice are so well done. This is an excellent example of a dark romance novella because it's well thought out but also fast paced. I definitely enjoyed it!
Ocean of Ink (A. R. Conwell) - Oct. 21, 2025

I ate this up! After reading a number of Conwell's rom-coms, I was absolute floored by the lyrical writing in this fantasy. It's always such a treat to see entirely different sides of authors and I strongly recommend checking out both this book and Conwell's rom-coms. The cliffhanger frustrated me in the best way! I can't wait to read the sequel. You best believe I'll be reading it as soon as the ARC comes into my inbox. The plot progression is perfectly done and I'm obsessed with the yearning. The banter? Perfection omg.
The Chaos Queen (Aubrey Winters) - Oct. 17, 2025

What a way to end a trilogy! The romance fit so well with the plot and the plot itself was impeccably paced. There was a lot of build up to the climax throughout the trilogy and I certainly wasn't disappointed. It's a quick read but it doesn't feel overly fast which is a difficult balance to achieve.
