2025: Oct. Wrap Up and Nov. Intro

“and when October goes, the snow begins to fly…” - Barry Manilow

October!

Screeemfest

I went to a horror festival with one of my close friends and I had a blast! It was so nice to eat pizza and then walk through a bunch of haunted houses. I posted a vlog on my IG and TikTok so go check it out!

The Life of a Showgirl

Yeah so unfortunately this album didn’t live up to my expectations but that’s totally okay. Not every TS album is going to be my absolutely favorite and it’s not my least favorite. There are some songs that I really loved and some that I’ll probably never listen to again. Check out my YouTube video for a full breakdown of my opinions!

Halloweekend

Night 1 (10/30): I unfortunately wasn’t able to go out because the friend I had planned on going out with got sick. Instead, I just stayed in and finished my Scream marathon.

Night 2 (10/31): Best night! The parties were great and the people were so fun to hang out with. I did feel like I was kind of dragged all over the place, I would’ve preferred to stay at one place for more than five minutes, but overall it was really fun! || Dressed up as Wednesday Addams.

Night 3 (11/01): It was okay. I didn’t really enjoy myself and the parties sucked. I ended up going back to my dorm earlier than expected. But my costume was fabulous! || Dressed up as Padme Amidala (Geonosis)

Organized an Event

I organized and ran an event for my college’s newspaper which was so much fun! I’m really happy with how it turned out and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun.

November

Happy 3rd BDay to The Rescue!

This whole month I am dedicating to my baby debut book The Rescue who is turning three years old on Nov. 14! Time really does fly. Head over to my IG for all the fun. I’ll be hosting giveaways, doing collabs, and running discounts the whole month so you should definitely check it out.

NaNoWriMo?

I will unfortunately not be doing a traditional NaNoWriMo this year. I will be doing a lowkey version where I have an accountability partner and I go through my draft of Project Blood and make notes for my revision process but I will not be drafting. I’m just extremely busy with school right now and I don’t have a project that I particularly want to draft.

Book Sale

There’s a library down the street from my college and they’re doing a book sale that I am excited for. Last year I got five books for $5 which is an absolute steal.

Overall…

The semester is almost over and I am so ready for winter break. I really need some time to rest and recuperate after this semester but at the same time I’m dreading all the end of term assignments I have to do.
