2025: Sept. Wrap Up + Oct. Intro

“Do you remember the 28th of September?” - Taylor Swift

September!

The Second Year Of College (The First Real Month)

My classes are all going pretty well so far. I’ve already had two papers and two exams! The grading is definitely a tad bit harsher than it was last year but I’m also taking higher level courses. I’m mostly enjoying my classes which is always a blessing. I will say that I’m absolutely exhausted because I gave myself four back-to-back classes on Tuesdays/Thursdays (8am, 9:30am, 11am, 12:30pm) and then one class on Mondays/Wednesdays. I’m also tutoring writing for two hours on Mondays and meetings for my college’s newspaper twice a week (one hour each). But it’s a good kind of exhaustion. I always love being busy and college is definitely keeping me busy this semester.

Class of 2027??

I have officially been approved by my college’s Committee of Academic Standing to move my graduation up by a year and a half so I will be considered a Feb. 2027 graduate (Fall 2026 will be my last semester). I had to go through a lot of stuff behind the scenes (meetings and forms) but I was able to get everything approved. It’s the difference between $120,000 and $6,000 so obviously I opted for the cheaper option.

I Spent A Lot of Money

I will preface this by saying that I spent a really long time pricing everything out and slept on it multiple nights but I’m going to meet the cast of Supernatural in Boston in June 2026!! I’m so unbelievably excited about this!! It’s going to be my first convention and I spent roughly $2,000 on the tickets (silver for the weekend) and individual photo ops with Jared, Jensen, and Misha. It’s a lot of money for me to spend, especially because I’m not making as much money while I’m at college but I’m confident that I’ll be able to earn a lot of it back when I’m home for winter break.

YouTube

I posted my first two videos on my YouTube! It’s super exciting for me to finally be doing this because I’ve wanted to for a while and I finally have the time for it! The videos take me a while to edit so I’ll be posting once a week on Sundays (at the most). I might drop down to every other Sunday if I’m starting to struggle to find the time for the editing.

October!

Screamfest

Screamfest is a horror festival hosted by Canobie Lake Park in New Hampshire and I’ve always wanted to go but I’ve never had the time or people to go with. I’m happy to report that I’ll be going this month with one of my close friends! I’ll be posting about it on my Instagram and I might even make a longer form video on my YouTube about it.

The Life of a Showgirl

As a swiftie, I am extremely excited for Taylor Swift’s new album. Trust that I’ll be staying up for the midnight release.

Halloweekend

I’ve had my costumes prepped for this year, don’t worry. I’m going out for all three nights and I have a different costume for each night because yes I am that extra. The first night, one of my friends from another college is coming over and we’re doing an angel (her) and devil (me) costume. The second and third nights depend on one of my friends. She and I are going to coordinate for one of the nights as Enid (her) and Wednesday (me) from the Netflix show. The night her and I aren’t coordinating I’m going as Padme Amidala in her Geonosis outfit (I bought this back in February so I’ve been ready).

Overall…

The semester is ramping up so I’ll be focusing mostly on academics but I’ll continue posting on Instagram (every day), YouTube (every Sunday), My Blog (every Friday), and TikTok (whenever the vibes are right).
